Our patented “Cold Nozzle” technology avoids any risk of burns or material damage for users of our Ripack guns. As for our Securipack regulators, available with all our products, their technology offers double safety for the operator.
Several stringent certifications (UL, ULc, GS, DVGW, CE) guarantee this level of quality and safety. This enables us to maintain the highest standards in the development of our products.
Last but not least, our warranty levels, ranging from 1 to 10 years (depending on the product and brand), are synonymous with durability and reliability.

We have to do everything we can to ensure that our exchanges are the best they can be, even if it means finding ways to improve them.
Our vision of the company is based on 3 main principles:
- Continuous training in relation to changes in the company, new technologies and new working methods means that employees can keep up with these changes more serenely and with all the keys in hand. We try to provide a wide range of training courses, from risk management in the workplace to appropriate management methods and the acquisition of new technical skills.
- research in close connection with training enables everyone to be a driving force within the company and to propose actions or solutions with the aim of improving life in the company.
- Team spirit is developed on a daily basis. It is essential if we are to understand each other and work together in the best possible conditions. The aim is to work in a friendly, caring environment.
Respect for the environment
As mentioned above, the meaning we give to our actions is essential if everyone is to identify with our values.
Protecting the environment is one of the major ways in which we can give meaning to what we do. We activate several environmental levers to remain consistent with our values. These include the choice of suppliers (preferably national or European), the choice of materials used, optimisation of our product range and packaging methods.
Our commitment also extends to the information we pass on to our customers. We do our utmost to raise awareness of the use of bio-based gases, reduce film consumption and recycle plastic.
We also take action internally. Our employees are encouraged to sort their waste (both production waste and household waste), use the compost bins provided or tend the company vegetable garden.
Every action we take reinforces our commitment to protecting our environment. There are no small actions.

“Can we really envisage the development of our companies without adopting a coherent approach to sustainable development or, more broadly, ecology? Personally, I no longer believe so (and I would like to thank my colleagues at the Centre des Jeunes Dirigeant-e-s d’entreprise for this realisation).

1922
RIPPES PRODUCTION FACILITIES,
INNOVATION AT THE HEART
OF DEVELOPMENT
Since its creation in 1922, RIPPES production facilities have specialised in designing sealing equipment and have based their success on innovation. A number of patents were filed enabling safer products that use less gas to come onto the market.
Around 1975, RIPPES came up with and developed the idea of covering a palletised load in a cover made from heat shrinkable plastic in order to stabilise the load and protect it from theft and bad weather.
Its mastery of the flame, resulting from this extensive know-how, later led to the creation of the company SEFMAT and its brand, RIPACK.

SHRINK-WRAP
BEGINS TO BE MANUFACTURED
SEFMAT was one of the first manufacturers to develop a gas-fed “gun” intended for shrinking heat shrink covers thanks to the heat generated by the hot air produced. From the outset, the SEFMAT has concentrated on innovation in the safety of its equipment and its reliability.
The “cold nozzle” patent which removes any risk of contact burns has enabled RIPACK to become the leading brand on the market worldwide.

Very quickly, the SEFMAT found outlets for the RIPACK range all over the world. Now, present in more than 140 countries, the RIPACK network is the most extensive in the market.

A RANGE OF EXTENSIONS
UNIQUE IN THE WORLD
Ripack is the first brand to develop a “combo” extension system. This system allows 2 extensions to be nested, without tools, to form a longer one. Thanks to this development, our brand has established itself in the world of boat wintering and the protection of industrial goods under shrink wrap.

BIRTH OF RIPACK SUPPLIES®
Ripack Supplies® was launched in 2012 to meet the needs of our distribution network. The brand offers a range of products for protecting large volumes such as boats, industrial goods and building containment.
2023
AN ALL-TERRAIN WORKSTATION
Over the years, the product range has been extended to make the work of professionals easier. The year 2023 announces the launch of the new 750 trolley, which completes the range.
With its all-terrain wheels and range of functions, the trolley is a real mobile workstation. Extensions and tools are stored in complete safety.
It’s easy to move around, and very comfortable for the operator.
